Universal Studios Home Entertainment объявили о выходе в США на Blu-ray легендарного фильма Брайана Де Пальмы - "Лицо со шрамом/Scarface". Дата релиза - 6 сентября 2011г. Ранее BluRay-Ua сообщали о выходе фильма в Великобритании.
Лимитированное издание будет упаковано в стилбук, в котором кроме Blu-ray диска будут представлены цифровая копия с фильмом 1983 года, DVD с оригинальным фильмом 1932 года и десять эксклюзивных карточек.
Издание будет включать большое количество дополнительных материалов, функцию U-Control с кадрами интервью Брайана Де Пальмы, Аль Пачино, Оливера Стоуна, документальный фильм "Феномен Лица со шрамом", рассказывающий о влиянии фильма на мировой кинематогроф, удаленные сцены, документальный фильм "Мир Тони Монтана", рассказывающий о мире насилия, страха и паранойи, которая окружает наркобарона, документальные фильмы об особенностях съемочного процесса и многое другое. Кроме этого в продажу поступить коллекционный подарочный релиз не имеющий аналогов ни по ценности ни по стоимости. Набор будет включать эсклюзивную коробку для сигар ручной работы, выполненную из испанского кедра для поддержания оптимальной влажности. В коробку можно будет поместить до 100 сигар. Издание будет лимитировано 1000 штук. Каждый набор будет включать номерной сертификат подлинности. Цена издания 999$. На данный момент предзаказ на амазоне оформляется со скидкой по цене 699$.
